Abhishek Bachchan and Chitrangda Singh step out in Kolkata as Mr and Mrs Bob Biswas

Abhishek Bachchan and Chitrangda Singh were spotted in Kolkata where they are shooting for Bob Biswas. The film, directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh, is a spinoff of Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani (2012) and it is centred on the titular assassin, who was originally portrayed by Saswata Chatterjee. 

The pictures from the set were leaked and quickly went viral on social media. While Bachchan has previously shown off the props for his role, he is seen in character in the rare pictures. Dressed in grey pants and a blue checked shirt, Bachchan seems to have nailed the mundaneness of the character. While the actor looks a little too tall to play the uncommon hitman, he does have his iconic hairstyle in place. 

In another picture, Bachchan is accompanied by Singh, who seems to be playing his wife. The film might delve into the past of Biswas before he becomes the deadly assassin of Kahaani. 

The picture also shows the young actor who will play the couple's son in the film. 

Announced in November 2019, the film went on the floors in January 2020.

Bachchan has had a busy 2020 with the recent release of Anurag Basu's Ludo and the imminent release of Kookie Gulati's The Big Bull.
