Director Sameer Joshi’s Marathi movie Choomantar went on the floors in London last month. The film stars Rinku Rajguru, Prarthana Behere, Suvraj Joshi and Rishi Saxena. Now, the much-loved child actor from the iconic Naal (2018) Shrinivas Pokale has joined the cast.
Speaking about his casting, an official statement from the makers said, “Shrinivas has won the hearts of the people through his simple and beautiful performance [in Naal], innocent face and innocent nature. There is no doubt that people will be keenly awaiting his upcoming movie.”
The makers have shared pictures of Pokale shooting with Rajguru and Behere in London.
Apart from Choomantar, Pokale is also set to appear in another upcoming Marathi film, Rajkumar, which stars Bhausaheb Shinde, Gayatri Jadhav, Devika Daftardar and Pravin Tarde.
At the start of the shoot, Rajguru, who took her first international trip due to this project, had said in an official statement, “My journey from Mumbai to London was filled with excitement. It was good to see that all the safety measures being followed at both the airports and I will also follow such measures everywhere.”
