The MAMI Mumbai Film Festival has announced that it is partnering with India's largest children's film festival, the International Kids Film Festival (IKFF).

The festival is being held from today till 20 December with over 150 movies from 40 countries in 30 languages being made available on Krayon, the video platform for children.

The global film festival endeavours to introduce kids to the magic of cinema and use its power to educate and inspire. It is also an opportunity for students across the globe to watch, learn and make movies.

Since 2017, IKFF has engaged with five million students across the globe and been hosted by 20 countries in more than 10,000 schools.

In addition to films, the festival will organize a conversation about children's content in India which will feature Amrita Pandey (CEO, Junglee Pictures and Times Studios Originals), Aparna Purohit (head of India Originals, Amazon Prime Video), Mini Mathur (actress, host, creator), Syed Sultan Ahmed (director, IKFF, and managing director, LXL Ideas), Vikramaditya Motwane (filmmaker) and Smriti Kiran (MAMI artistic director). The conversation will be moderated by IKFF artistic director Neha Jain.
