Actress Sudipta Chakraborty has tested positive for COVID-19. She took to Facebook yesterday to inform fans about her condition and assured them that she was fine.
Chakraborty confirmed that she had no fever, body ache or breathing trouble. The actress has only experienced a mild nose block and her sense of taste and smell have gone.

She is taking medication and has been isolating herself in her room for the last four days.
Asking her fans not to panic, she said her husband, director Abhishek Saha and daughter Shahida, were all right. However, they too have been advised to undergo a test after a few days of observation.
A few days ago, the Bengali film industry lost legendary artiste Soumitra Chatterjee, who had been battling complications caused by the novel coronavirus for more than a month.
