Rakul Preet Singh joins Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn in Mayday

Rakul Preet Singh will join Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn in their next project, Mayday. The film will be directed by Devgn, and the actress will play a pilot.

Rakul Preet took to social media to announce her joining the cast. 

Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh had co-starred in Akiv Ali's De De Pyaar De (2019). It will be the actress's first collaboration with Amitabh Bachchan.

In a statement, she said, "I have worked with Ajay sir in the past and am extremely thrilled to be working with him yet again as his co-pilot in a film where he is not just my co-star but director too. When I decided to be an actor, like all other aspiring actors, I had a dream to work with Mr. Bachchan and I am so glad that with this film my dream to share screen space with him will come true."

The film will be a thriller and is expected to go on the floor in December. Devgn is currently finishing the shooting of his forthcoming film, Bhuj: The Pride Of India (2020).
