The film will be directed by Grewal and produced by the actor and his wife, Ravneet Kaur Grewal, under his production house Humble Motion Pictures. The film is the third part of the Ardaas franchise, which started with Grewal’s directorial debut, Ardaas (2016). The film, starring Grewal alongside Gurpreet Ghuggi, Ammy Virk, Rana Ranbir and Karamjit Anmol, was immensely successful. This was followed by Ardaas Karaan (2019), which was also a big hit.
Both films have a social message as will the third part.
Shooting for Ardaas Sarbat De Bhalle Di is set to begin in 2021 and well-known actors from the Punjabi film industry, including Gurpreet Ghuggi, Sapna Pabbi and Rana Ranbir, will star in the film.
Grewal has a slate of films that will be released in 2021. He recently announced three films, Manje Bistre 3, Maa and Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi, which will be out in theatres. Aside from this, he had also announced Widow Colony, a film on the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, shooting for which will commence in 2021.
