After Khwada and Baban, Bhausaheb Shinde to star in Lagla Yaad Tujha

After receiving rave reviews for his performance in Khwada (2015) and Baban (2018), actor Bhausaheb Shinde will now be seen playing the lead role in the film Lagla Yaad Tujha. 

The film is being produced by Rupesh Dinkar Pagare, Sanjay Baburao Pagare and Aravind Arjun Kadam under the banner of Shakuntala Creations. The director will be finalized later. 

As per a statement shared by the makers, Lagla Yaad Tujha is more than a romantic film. “Though the title seemingly reveals the nature of the content of the love story, the film will unfold a lot of novelty as far as the screenplay is concerned [sic],” the statement read. 

The makers have also added that the audience will witness something never seen before in Marathi cinema. “As Lagla Yaad Tujha is the producers' maiden production in Marathi, they aim to come up with an extremely novel subject, which is an out-and-out musical as well as romantic film. Several nuances that have not been incorporated in any romantic film in Marathi to date will be seen for the first time,” the statement read. 

Shinde also has another upcoming film title Rajkumar, which will see him reunite with his Baban co-star Gayatri Jadhav.
