Jitendra Joshi's first home production Godavari goes on the floor


Joshi remembered his close friend, the late actor-director Nishikant Kamat, on the occasion of the Godavari muhurat shot.

Jitendra Joshi's first home production Godavari has gone on the floor. The actor took to Instagram to share the news. He also shared a picture of his close friend, the late filmmaker Nishikant Kamat, along with a frame of the lord Ganesha as he kick-started shooting for the film.

My brother @nikmahajan said let's produce a film and he insisted my company's name should be what it is now n I said "अब बोल ही दिया है पार्टनर तो देख लेंगे" Never ever thought of this but yes Dreams come true. Joshi's friends and co-stars in Marathi cinema like Amruta Khanvilkar, Umesh Kamat, Sonalee Kulkarni and Adinath Kothare congratulated him on undertaking the venture.

Godavari is being directed by Mahajan and stars Priyadarshan Jadhav, Gauri Nalawade and Sakhi Gokhale along with veteran artistes Sanjay Mone and Neena Kulkarni.
