Rohan-Rohan's new single 'Atke Hai' seeks to banish the lockdown blues

It's been 50 days since the Indian government imposed the nationwide lockdown to curb the spread of COVID-19. With nowhere to go, boredom has kicked in. 'Atke Hai' is composer duo, Rohan Gokhale and Rohan Pradhan, aka Rohan-Rohan's attempt to beat the lockdown blues in collaboration with RVCJ.

The song is also a tribute to all COVID-19 warriors, who are fighting on the frontlines to keep us safe. The song features Rohan-Rohan and various other artistes, who we know from various web-series and comic sketches on YouTube. All the artistes, including Rohan-Rohan, have shot their portion from the safety of their homes.

Rohan-Rohan have sung, composed, and written this song, which is slow and melodic. It perfectly captures the feeling of boredom. The music and the singing style is reminiscent of songs belonging to the black and white era. We see various artistes like Ayush Mehra, Apoorva Arora, Abhinav Anand (Bade), Aasif Khan, Ambrish Verma, Shreya Gupto and Anud Singh Dhaka sitting at home bored.

The lyrics capture the mood of the current situation and how people are feeling trapped at home. But in the end, the composers reiterate the importance of this lockdown and leave us with a positive message on how we will overcome this situation soon.
