Piyush Mishra, Neha Sharma, Akshay Oberoi to star in legal drama titled Illegal

After Asur, Marzi and The Raikar Case, Voot is all set to present its next web-series, titled Illegal. Directed by Sahir Raza, the subject revolves around lawyers and the legal profession. Illegal stars Piyush Mishra, Neha Sharma, Akshay Oberoi, Satyadeep Mishra and Kubbra Sait. 

According to the makers, the show is about two high-profile cases that are been handled by the number one law firm in India. They have described it as, “A first of its kind intense, racy legal drama that questions whether all lawyers are mercenaries or can some resist the lure of greed, ambition and power, and fight to win defining judgements that hold the bar of justice high and restore faith in humanity?” 

The first poster of Illegal shows Sharma, Oberoi and Mishra’s characters, who play lawyers, seated in, what seems like their office. Going by their attires, it is clear that Mishra plays the senior of the other two actors. 

Raza has previously directed series like A.I.S.H.A: My Virtual Girlfriend, Hum Tum And Them and Law And Honour. He has also been a cinematographer for some series, short films and the Telugu movie, Bangaru Kodipetta (2014).
