Filmmakers are utilising this period of the lockdown by working on the pre-production of their films. Akshay Kumar, who shot for a COVID-19 awareness campaign ad on Monday, attended a virtual meeting for the final script narration of his upcoming spy drama, Bell Bottom (2020). The online script meeting was held at 6am.

Producer Nikkhil Advani shared a photo of the Zoom meeting on Twitter. He wrote, "Nothing changes for Akshay Kumar during #Lockdown 6am final narration of #BellBottom."

The photo shows producers Jackky and Vashu Bhagnani, director Ranjit Tiwari, Nikkhil Advani, and writer Aseem Arora along with the actor.

Actor-producer Bhagnani also shared the same photo and wrote, "My definition of a perfect morning. It was great to organise this 6am #BellBottom narration with Akshay Kumar Sir. What a fab script Ranjit Tiwari, Aseem Arora. We are all set - haina Nikkhil Advani. Dad, we have never had such an early morning together."

Bell Bottom, a spy thriller set in the 1980s, is reportedly based on true incidents. Earlier, there were reports about it being a remake of a Kannada film, but Akshay refuted all such claims. The film is set to go on floors in September and will be shot in multiple locations. Bell Bottom is due to be released on 2 April 2021.
