Producer Shailendra Singh salutes Mumbai police with a tribute video

In recent times, many videos, specifically dedicated to the police and health care workers, have been released. Yet another such tribute video was recently released by producer Shailendra Singh. The video celebrates and salutes the Maharashtra and the Mumbai police for their extraordinary work during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

The two-minute tribute number features montages of Mumbai police constables doing their duty diligently, even in the scorching heat. The video offers a glimpse of the hardships they face as well as the pride they have in their work and the gratitude from citizens.

Marathi composer Saleel Kulkarni has composed the tune for the song, while Aarya Ambekar has sung the number.  The song has been conceptualised and written by Singh, who said, “I was inspired to give the entire country a glimpse of the extraordinary work that the Maharashtra police and the Mumbai police are doing, often while being unable to stay in their homes or visit their own families. Through this video, Indians everywhere are standing up and saluting these brave warriors.”
