What Are The Odds? trailer: Two oddballs caught in a series of misadventures

The teaser of What Are The Odds? had given us a slight idea about the film's theme. The newly-released trailer builds upon that by giving us more information about the characters involved in this coming-of-age drama. Vivek (Yashaswini Dayama) is a socially awkward and rebellious teenager, while Ashwin (Karanvir Malhotra) is a well-behaved head boy of his school. These two teenagers, who are completely opposite in nature, strike an unexpected friendship.

The trailer follows them on their various misadventures, from wandering in the jungles, riding a bike, being locked up in jail, getting punched in the face, to running away. The trailer gives enough information to pique your interest without revealing much about the plot.

We also see that Vivek is attracted to an older guy Val (Abhay Deol), who doesn't reciprocate her feelings. Ashwin too seems to be interested in an older woman. 

The film also features Monica Dogra, Manu Rishi Chadha and Sulbha Arya in supporting roles, though it's not clear what relationship they share with these two teenagers. 

Directed by Megha Ramaswamy and produced by Deol, who plays Val, this English language film will premiere on Netflix on 20 May.
