With theatres shut and TV channels being forced to re-run old programmes, people are turning to OTT (over-the-top) platforms for entertainment. Keeping this in mind, Shailendra Singh has decided to release his 2017 short film, Kachche Din (Raw Days), on YouTube.

The short film, which stars Deepak Dobriyal, Teena Singh and Yashpal Sharma, is about the plight of a migrant taxi driver, who is barely earning enough to survive in Mumbai. Unknowingly, he gets involved in the lives of his passengers, one of whom is Teena Singh's character.

Kachche Din has won several accolades at film festivals in India as well as abroad. It won the award for Best Foreign Short Film and Best Director at the Northern Virginia International Film Festival.

Kachche Din has been written and directed by Shailendra Singh and will be released on YouTube on 22 May.
