When the lockdown was imposed in the country in March to curb the COVID-19 pandemic, Salman Khan was at his farmhouse in Karjat, about 100km from Mumbai, along with family members and close friends. They have all been stranded there now for almost two months.

Khan has been shooting videos at his farmhouse, which he has also been releasing online. His latest is a romantic number written by Shabbir Ahmed and composed by Ajay Bhatia. Khan has sung the song and directed the video, which features him and Jacqueline Fernandez as lovers.

Looking at Ahmed’s lyrics, it feels like the song was written merely to kill time or meet a deadline. There is no real poetry. Bhatia’s music also falls in the average category.

A major part of the video contains random visuals of Khan, Fernandez and their horses. It is only later that we realize there is a story as well, which looks like it has been forced into the narrative. Khan and Fernandez seem to be playing themselves.

The one positive aspect of the song is that we get a good tour of the farmhouse owned by the Khan family. From the interiors to the open roads, it’s a treat for those who would like to chill on holiday. Watch the song:
