After Arya (2004) and Arya 2 (2009), actor Allu Arjun and filmmaker Sukumar have teamed up again for another action thriller titled, Pushpa. The film will be released in five languages worldwide – Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada.
The makers have shared the news about an “extensive, never seen before mega-action sequence” with the actor, which is going to cost a whopping Rs6 crore.
“The six-minute action sequence has been budgeted to cost around Rs6 crore and the superstar has been training rigorously to position and create a one of its kind intense, gritty and a spectacular sequence. The visuals and the action will be first of a kind for an Indian film,” said an official statement from the makers.
Due to the ongoing employment crisis in the film industry because of the coronavirus lockdown, the makers have decided to employ only Indian crew members to shoot the action scenes.
“The makers have shelved the idea to hire international action choreographers and will make the sequence of the film a 100% ‘Made in India’ project, hiring the best Indian stunt choreographers from south India, who are methodically planning an extensive and an elaborate stunt spectacle,” said the statement.
Pushpa will see Rashmika Mandanna star opposite Allu Arjun.
