Actress Subhasree Ganguly announces pregnancy on second wedding anniversary

The actress shared the news on Twitter along with a picture of herself with husband Raj Chakraborty. 

On the occasion of her second wedding anniversary, actress Subhasree Ganguly shared the happy news of her pregnancy on Twitter. Sharing a photo with her husband Raj Chakraborty, she tweeted, “We are pregnant.”

A few days ago, the Bengali film industry shared the joy of Koel Mallick being blessed with a baby boy. Now, this couple has been receiving warm congratulatory wishes once they shared the happy news. In the photo of the post shared by Ganguly, the couple can be seen wearing t-shirts, announcing that they are going to be parents soon.

Rumours of her pregnancy were doing the rounds during the promotions of her upcoming film, Dharmajuddha (2020), directed by Chakraborty. She features as the pregnant wife of Saptarshi Das in the song, 'Tumi Jodi Chao' from the film. Dharmajuddha was supposed to release in the month of April but has now been postponed indefinitely. 

Her co-actress from the film Parno Mittra, congratulated the couple, saying they have utilised the lockdown period in the best possible way.

Actor Rudranil Ghosh also wished the couple using the famous dialogue from his film, Vinci Da (2019), saying, “Lockdowney Kokhon Je Jyethu Hoe Jaben Dhorte Parben Na” [You will never know, when you will turn into an uncle in the lockdown”].
