An earlier poster for the film had revealed its release date to be 14 August, but the new one does not carry any release date.

The makers of Hungama 2, the second film in the Hungama franchise, had announced the movie through a poster at the end of last year. Now, they have come up with another poster which tells us more about the film directed by Priyadarshan, who had also helmed the original Hungama (2003).
The poster has an interesting image of Shilpa Shetty, Meezaan Jaaferi and Pranitha Subhash sitting in a romantic mood in a coffee shop. They are unaware that Paresh Rawal is hiding under the table.

Curiously, he has a syringe in his hand. This indicates that he is either playing a doctor or, more likely, is someone hell-bent on creating mischief. After all, the film's tagline is ‘Confusion Unlimited’.
The first film was also all about confusion that led to a series of hilarious moments. But only Rawal has been retained from the 2003 movie's cast. The rest of the main cast — Akshaye Khanna, Rimi Sen and Aftab Shivdasani — do not find a place in Hungama 2. This suggests that the story will not be a continuation of the first film.
An earlier poster for Hungama 2 showed Rawal’s character carrying out a romantic dance with Shilpa Shetty. Interestingly, it had also revealed 14 August to be the film's release date. Curiously, the new poster does not carry the date.

A big film like Bhuj: The Pride Of India, starring Ajay Devgn, is being released on that day. Hence, the makers of Hungama 2 may well be thinking of shifting their release date.
