TV actress Tejasswi Prakash to make film debut in Rohit Shetty’s first Marathi production

Popular Hindi television actress Tejasswi Prakash will be making her film debut with the Marathi movie, School College Aani Life (2020). This will be the first Marathi film as producer for successful Hindi filmmaker Rohit Shetty. 

Tejasswi shared the news recently on her official Instagram page. “Proud and lucky to have Rohit Shetty sir as my mentor and it only got better when I got to be the leading lady of Rohit Shetty’s first Marathi venture, School College Aani Life,” she said. 

Some of Tejasswi’s television serials include, Swaragini, Pehredaar Piya Ki and Rishta Likhenge Hum Yahan. Tejasswi is currently a contestant in the television reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi which, incidentally, is being hosted by Shetty. 

Tejaswwi also shared a still from the film, where she is seen with actor Karan Kishore Parab. Interestingly, he too is making his film debut with this movie. 

While not much is known about the story of School College Aani Life, the title gives a clear indication that the film will revolve around the lives of students. The film is directed by Vihan Suryavanshi, who is also a debutant. Before this film, he had directed the television series Pukaar in 2014, and has assisted in quite a few films. 

School College Aani Life will be released this summer.
