Priya Bapat and Umesh Kamat are back with the second season of Aani Kay Hava?

Real-life couple Priya Bapat and Umesh Kamat did their first web-series together last year in the form of Aani Kay Hava? They are now back with the second season of the show which began streaming on Saturday 21 March on the MX Player platform. Like the first season, the second is also directed by Varun Narvekar.

Both Bapat and Kamat are reprising their roles as Jui and Saket from the first season. They play a married couple and the episodes follow the various adventures and happenings in their married life. “As their marriage grows older, Jui and Saket’s bond is strengthened with the introduction of new things in their life,” said an official statement from the makers.

Elaborating, Bapat said, “Jui and Saket are like any other married couple and the instances that are brought alive in the episodes are sure to have happened with you at some point in your relationship.”

Kamat is happy to be working again with his spouse in the series. “It took Priya and me seven years to reunite on screen with season 1 and I am so happy to have season 2 so soon. These characters are close to our hearts and their innocence is sure to touch your heart, as it did mine,” he said.

The last time Bapat and Kamat had starred together in a movie was for Time Please (2013).

On what to expect of the second season, Narvekar said, “Being married means a lifetime of adventure and we have tried to bring alive the small highs of life with Jui and Saket’s relationship. I believe happiness is found in the day-to-day moments and this series highlights that.”

Like the first season, the second season of Aani Kay Hava? also has six episodes.
