Mom actress Sajal Aly ties the knot in Abu Dhabi

Sajal Aly, last seen in the Hindi film Mom (2017) as Sridevi's daughter, tied the knot with actor-singer Ahad Raza Mir. The wedding ceremony was a three-day grand yet intimate affair in the presence of a few close friends and family members in Abu Dhabi. Their rasm-e-henna (henna ceremony) was held at the Emirates Palace Hotel.

Prior to her Hindi film debut with Mom, the Pakistani actress worked in many television serials in her home country. Her husband Ahad Raza Mir is known for his work on Pakistani television serials and for his appearance in musical show Coke Studio 11.

Family members and friends from other countries flew down to Abu Dhabi to be part of the wedding. Their nikah was held at Zaya Nurai island, a private resort in Abu Dhabi.

The destinations selected by Sajal and Ahad are prestigious landmark locations of Abu Dhabi. The couple resided at the ultra-luxurious Emirate Palace suite that has been a residence for international dignitaries. They posted the first photos from the wedding on Aly's Instagram page. 

This is the first Pakistani celebrity destination wedding. The couple will be seen next in the Zee5 series Dhoop Ki Deewar that will be released digitally in India and the Middle East in the next few months.
