Coronavirus update: Hollywood actors Idris Elba, Kristofer Hivju test positive

British actor and musician, Idris Elba has tested positive for coronavirus. The actor, who is known for his performances in the HBO series The Wire, BBC One series Luther, and Nelson Mandela in the biopic, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013), shared the news on Twitter yesterday.
Elba said that he got tested after he found out that he had been exposed to someone who had tested positive for coronavirus.

Besides Elba, Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju also announced on Monday that he has tested positive for coronavirus. The actor shared the news on his Instagram account. “Greetings from Norway,” he wrote in an Instagram post, adding that his symptoms were mild. “My family and I are self-isolating at home for as long as it takes.”
Hivju is the latest in the line of celebrities who have been tested positive for COVID-19. Hollywood actor Tom Hanks and his wife had also tested positive. According to the latest update, the actor and his wife were released from an Australian hospital after being treated for coronavirus and are now in self-quarantine.
Former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko also revealed on Sunday that she had tested positive. The 40-year-old, who starred in Quantum of Solace (2008), said she had been "ill for almost a week" with fever and fatigue before being diagnosed.
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed more than 7,000 lives so far.
