Marathi cinema has seen a surfeit of romantic films in the past few years. Some have tackled subjects like caste discrimination and other serious matters, some have been light-hearted, some have been based in small towns, and some have dealt with the problems of married couples in metro cities. Currently, Marathi cinema seems to be saturated with romantic films.
Now comes news that another romantic film, titled I Love You Aishwarya, is in the pipeline. But, according to the makers, we will get to see something different in the film. I Love You Aishwarya will tell the story of a boy who falls in love with a girl who is much older.
The film's makers announced the title by sharing the first teaser poster.
The film is directed by first-time director Jigar Nagda. While Nagda himself has written the story, the screenplay and dialogues have been penned by Natasha Tendulkar.
Produced by Madan Paliwal for Miraj Creations, the film is being co-produced by Sonal Deshpande. I Love You Aishwarya will be the first Marathi film produced by Miraj Creations. The banner has earlier produced a few Hindi films.
