Armaan Malik signs with Arista Records for first English single 'Control'

Armaan Malik is going places. The young singer-songwriter has signed with Arista Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, and will debut his first English single 'Control' on 20 March. Malik has already sung songs in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi, Malayalam, Urdu and Gujarati.
The 24-year-old spoke about this new phase in his musical journey. “To write and release English music has been my dream for as long as I can remember, and I couldn’t have found a better family than Arista Records to be starting this new journey with," he shared.
"There’s no better feeling than to know that I’m in such good hands with an executive like David Massey, who truly believes in me, this project and also shares my vision about global music. We have been working on this for about a year now and I can’t control my excitement to share this new side of me with the world," he continued.
Malik has already over 20 hit Hindi film songs in his career but posted on Twitter that he was grateful, excited, and nervous about the life-changing step.

Massey, the president and CEO of Arista, said, “We are excited to have Armaan join the Arista family. He is an international superstar and we look forward to introducing him to the US and broadening his fan base here.”
