Tiger Shroff-starrer Baaghi 3 showed a jump in collections during the Holi holiday yesterday. The Ahmed Khan-directed film made Rs13.50 crore nett in the day, according to figures shared by BoxOfficeIndia.com.
Baaghi 3 has not performed as well at the box office as expected, considering the stupendous success of the previous film in the franchise, Baaghi 2 (2018). The film had made Rs52.75 crore nett on the first weekend, whereas the second film had made Rs72 crore nett in the same period, despite being released at a significantly lesser number of screens.
As per our trade sources, Baaghi 3 has been made at a budget of Rs100 crore. The film has so far made Rs75 crore nett. It needs to have a good hold on the remaining weekdays and the second weekend. The film might face some challenge from Angrezi Medium, which is releasing this Friday.
Meanwhile, the Taapsee Pannu-starrer Thappad showed some hold yesterday as it made Rs1.50 crore nett. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the film's total earnings currently stand at Rs28.29 crore nett.
