Seeing the lockdown as an opportunity for creative minds, the latest anthology on Netflix features a series of short films by renowned filmmakers from across the world. Titled Homemade, the film brings together filmmakers Gurinder Chadha, Paolo Sorrentino, David Mackenzie, Nadine Labaki, Sebastián Lelio, as well as actors Kristen Stewart and Maggie Gyllenhaal, amongst others. The anthology is available for viewing globally on the OTT platform today.
Chadha, who had shared glimpses of the film earlier on Twitter, takes a loving look at her family’s life in lockdown, using the unexpected gift of time to connect with her kids and also grieve for the loved ones she has lost.
