Coronavirus update: Members of Aamir Khan's household staff test positive for COVID-19

In a tweet, the actor-producer said he and other members of the family had tested negative for the contagion and his mother is the only one who remains to be tested.

Superstar Aamir Khan revealed on Twitter today that some of the members of his household staff had tested positive for the COVID-19 contagion and have been quarantined.

The actor-producer thanked the Mumbai municipal corporation for its prompt action and support in taking care of the affected people and for sanitizing the housing society where the Khans live.

Aamir Khan also said other members of the household had been tested and found negative for the contagion. The only person who remains to be tested is his mother. The actor appealed to fans to pray for her well-being and hope that she, too, tests negative.

 

Aamir Khan also thanked the staff at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in suburban Andheri in Mumbai, appreciating the care and professionalism that they had displayed in carrying out the tests.
