After actor Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on 14 June, veteran singer Sonu Nigam had shocked everyone by saying that no one should be surprised if some people in the film industry also end their lives.

Calling the music industry a 'bigger mafia' than the film industry, Nigam had said music companies insist on using singers close to them and leave others out even if producers, directors and composers want to work with them.

Without naming anyone, he had said two music companies and two persons have all the power in the industry and decide who should be allowed to sing.

Now, in another Instagram video, Nigam has lashed out at T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar for allegedly making a few people from the industry speak ill of him in interviews. The singer also slammed The Times of India newspaper for allegedly publishing press releases issued by Bhushan Kumar as is, without checking any facts.

Warning Bhushan Kumar, Nigam said, “You have crossed paths with a wrong person. You remember the time when you used to beg me to do music albums with you, help you meet people like Smita Thackeray, Bal Thackeray and save you from [gangster and extortionist] Abu Salem?”

The popular singer and reality show judge then threatened to release a video in which a newcomer actress has allegedly accused Bhushan Kumar of harassment. “If you take panga with me again, I will upload that video on YouTube. Don’t come in my way,” Nigam warned in his Instagram video.
