Vijay Deverakonda's new look with long hair and goatee goes viral

Actor Vijay Deverakonda, who is known to experiment with his looks, has stunned fans with his new avatar. The actor is seen sporting long hair and a goatee in his new look, which has gone viral on social media. 

The actor's new look caught people's attention when Vijay shared a set of new pictures on Instagram, which also featured his father, on the occasion of Father’s Day.  However, it is still not known if the new look is for his upcoming Telugu-Hindi bilingual film Fighter with Puri Jagannadh or something he is trying while stuck at home due to the lockdown. Actress Ananya Panday will play his leading lady in the movie.

In the film, Vijay plays a fighter with a stutter. He underwent training in mixed martial arts in Thailand to prepare for his character. Vijay is expected to sport a six-pack for this project, which is looking to be released this year. Karan Johar has come on board to release the film in Hindi along with Apoorva Mehta. 

The actor had earlier said, "The film will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, and will be dubbed into other regional languages as well. Besides Telugu, I am planning to dub my lines in Hindi as well.”

The script of Fighter was originally pitched to Jr NTR a few years but for reasons unknown, the project never took off. 

The actor also has a yet-untitled Telugu project with filmmaker Indraganti Mohan Krishna in the pipeline. The film, which will take off after the release of Fighter, will be produced by Dil Raju.
