Marathi film actress Monalisa Bagal makes TV debut with Total Hublak

Marathi film actress Monalisa Bagal has made her television debut with the comedy show Total Hublak, which started airing on Zee Marathi last week. She is the only actress on the show, which stars Rahul Magdum, Kiran Gaikwad and Mahesh Yadav.
Bagal began her film journey by playing the younger version of Sai Tamhankar’s character in Amol Shetge’s Sau Shadhi Deodhar (2014). Following this, she has played pivotal roles in films like Prem Sankat (2016), Zhalla Bobhata (2017), Dry Day (2018), Sobat (2018), Gau (2018) and Perfume (2019).
In most of her films, Bagal has played the girl next door who falls in love with hero. But for the first time, the actress will be playing a mature middle-class housewife in the show.
“Through this new comedy show Total Hublak, Monalisa Bagal has taken the responsibility of entertaining people who have got bored with the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown,” said an official statement from the makers.
