Master team releases special poster on Vijay’s birthday today

Actor Vijay turns 46 today and the makers of his upcoming Tamil film Master (2020) unveiled a new poster from the film to commemorate the occasion. The film marks the first collaboration between the actor and director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

The poster was released at midnight on Sunday to ring in the actor's birthday. Within seconds of it being released on Twitter, the poster went viral. The hashtag HBD [Happy Birthday] Thalapathy Vijay has been trending for the last 24 hours with over a million impressions. Director Kanagaraj was one of the first to wish the director and share the special poster.

Vijay’s fans celebrate his birthday in a big way. From organizing re-release shows of his films to carrying out several social activities, his birthday has called for a big celebration among his fans. However, this year it will be a quiet affair as the actor had requested fans not to celebrate his birthday. 

Meanwhile, the actor is currently looking forward to the release of Master. The film will see Vijay in the role of a college professor, while Malavika Mohanan plays his leading lady. Vijay Sethupathi will be seen playing the antagonist. The film also stars Andrea Jeremiah in a key role. 

 Vijay will soon team up with either AR Murugadoss or filmmaker Sudha Kongara for his next Tamil project, for which talks have already been initiated.
