Anurag Kashyap launches new production company, Good Bad Films

Anurag Kashyap has announced his third venture into production with his new company, Good Bad Films. The director's upcoming film, Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai, will mark the first production under the banner. The production company will see Kashyap team up with Dhruv Jagasia and Akshay Thakker.
Both Jagasia and Thakker had collaborated with Kashyap on his segment for Netflix's Ghost Stories (2020) earlier this year.
Kashyap made the official announcement about the company through social media today. He wrote, "So here it is .. our new company Good Bad Films.
Good Bad Films is the director's third foray into production following Anurag Kashyap Films and Phantom Films. Launched in 2011, Phantom Films was dissolved in 2018 following the breakdown in relations between Kashyap, Madhu Mantena, Vikramaditya Motwane and Vikas Bahl over allegations of sexual misconduct against the latter.
Choked:Paisa Bolta Hai features Saiyami Kher and Roshan Mathews in the lead. Releasing directly on Netflix's OTT platform on 5 June, the film revolves around the story of a working woman, Sarita, who discovers a stash of money only to have demonetisation put an end to her plans.
