Keerthy Suresh roped in for Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata

Actress Keerthy Suresh confirmed that she has been roped in for Mahesh Babu’s upcoming Telugu film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2020), which will be directed by Parasuram. The actress shared this during an Instagram live chat on Thursday. 

This will be the first time that the actress will be working with Mahesh Babu. Keerthy currently has three more Telugu projects in her kitty. Her upcoming Telugu release will be Miss India (2020), while she also has Nithiin-starrer Rang De gearing up for release soon. She also has a sports comedy with Nagesh Kukunoor, who is making his foray into Telugu industry with this project.

Keerthy also has Tamil film Annaatthe (2020), which stars Rajinikanth, in the pipeline. In the film, she will be seen playing Rajinikanth’s sister. Her latest release Penguin, a Tamil serial-killer thriller, premiered on Amazon Prime today. 

The shoot of Sarkaru Vaari Paata will begin after the lockdown is completely lifted. Initially, it was rumoured that the film will star Kiara Advani, however, it ended up just as a rumour. The music of the film will be composed by SS Thaman while PS Vinod will be the cinematographer. The rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon. The project will be jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels Entertainment.  

Mahesh Babu's last release Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020) was a box-office blockbuster. The film, directed by Anil Ravipudi, raked in over Rs200 crore at the box-office. The actor played a soldier, who comes to a small town and saves a family from the clutches of a rowdy politician in th film.
