Gippy Grewal, Neeru Bajwa to be seen together on screen after a decade in Paani Ch Madaani

The poster of the Punjabi film Paani Ch Madaani (2021), starring Gippy Grewal and Neeru Bajwa, is brightly coloured and features a key with the words – 'Hard work is the key to one’s good fortune'. It also has scribblings that indicate money owed to various people like the car mechanic, vegetable seller etc. which offers a clue as to what the film will focus on. 

Paani Ch Madaani brings together two of the superstars from Punjabi cinema who will be seen working alongside each other on screen after 10 years. Interestingly, Grewal made his debut in 2010 in Mel Karade Rabba, where he starred alongside Bajwa.

The film has been directed by cinematographer-turned-director Vijay Kumar Arora, who directed the critically acclaimed film Harjeeta (2018). Paani Ch Madaani is written by Naresh Kathooria, who has previously written films like Carry On Jatta (2012), Munde Kamaal De (2015), and Uda Aida (2019). The music of the film is by Jay K.

The film will be released next year in 2021 though no release date has been mentioned.
