After the news of Sushant Singh Rajput's death by suicide on 14 June, another tragedy has befallen his family. Rajput's cousin's wife Sudha Devi died at Purnea in Bihar.
Sudha Devi died on Monday around the same time Sushant Singh Rajput's funeral was being carried out in Mumbai.
Reports suggested that she had stopped eating after she learnt of the actor's suicide on Sunday.
Sushant Singh Rajput's last rites were performed at the Pawan Hans crematorium at Santa Cruz in Mumbai on Monday afternoon after his father and two sisters arrived from their hometown Patna. Some other family members had flown to Mumbai late on Sunday.
Among industry colleagues, Rajput's Chhichhore (2019) co-stars Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Sharma, his Raabta (2017) co-star Kriti Sanon, his Kai Po Che! (2013) co-star Rajkummar Rao and director Abhishek Kapoor and his Dil Bechara (2020) director Mukesh Chhabra attended the last rites.
