Television actress Shweta Tiwari's daughter Palak is all set to make her debut in the Hindi film industry with Vivek Oberoi's Rosie: The Saffron Chapter. The newcomer will play the titular character of Rosie, a call centre employee.
Vivek Oberoi shared the film's poster featuring Palak Tiwari on Twitter. "And here's our mystery girl, glad to launch Palak Tiwari in & as Rosie! Our horror-thriller franchise is based on true events in Gurugram, directed by Vishal Mishra."

Talking about the Palak's debut in Hindi cinema, her mother Shweta told the newspaper Hindustan Times last December, "She was waiting for the right project to come. She also wants to finish her studies first. She doesn’t want to hop into her career without proper education. She wants to take a degree and then start working."
After promising to launch new talents unbiasedly through a talent hunt, Oberoi's announcement of casting Palak Tiwari, who is an insider and daughter of a well-known TV actress, raises some questions about the transparency of the contest. The actor-producer shared today that the winner of the contest will receive a prominent role in the film alongside Palak.
The last date to submit your entries in the #RosieTalentHunt is 12th August. To be judged by Kishore Namit Kapoor.
