The song, 'Pavitra Party' from Rajesh Krishnan's Lootcase (2020) is a perfect party anthem with its peppy rhythm and humorous lyrics. Composed by Rohan-Vinayak and written by Shreyas Jain, the song has been picturised on a party, which is full of colour and mirth. The spirited number sees Kunal Khemu (Nandan Kumar) and Rasika Dugal (Lata)'s characters doing full justice to Adil Shaikh's choreography with their spontaneous movements.

It's Nandan's brother’s birthday. However, many people in India fast on Tuesdays and refrain from eating non-vegetarian food or consuming alcohol. Hence, Lata, Nandan's wife, calls for a pavitra [pure] party. In a humorous manner, Nandan tries to convince her that it is not possible to party without alcohol.

While Nandan and Lata, along with a large group of family and friends chant ‘fakht pavitra party’ [only pavitra party], they also bring out the fun element as they try to resist alcohol. Singers Nakash Aziz, Keka Ghoshal and Arhaan Hussain do full justice to this lively number.

The choreography of the song has been conceptualised keeping in mind the lyrics but it also seamlessly captures the energy of the characters. The composition might sound quite common, but it has the potential to light up the mood and prepare for an impromptu dance.

Lootcase will be released on 31 July on Disney+Hotstar.
