Saqib Saleem, Shweta Basu Prasad team up for Comedy Couple, an urban rom-com

Actor Saqib Saleem, whose is awaiting the release of 83 (2020), has moved on to his next film, Comedy Couple, directed by Nachiket Samant. The film, which also stars Shweta Basu Prasad, is produced by Yoodlee FIlms. 

The makers of the film shared the first look with the lead pair taking centrestage. This is the first film collaboration by both artistes. 

Samant, who has directed the Marathi films Man Down (2014) and Gachchi (2017), will be making his debut as director in Hindi films with Comedy Couple. The film will head straight for an OTT (over-the-top) release on Zee5. The date of the release has not yet been revealed.

Saqib was last seen in the Netflix series, Bard of Blood (2019), while Basu Prasad was part of another Zee5 film, Shukranu.
