The first look poster of the Nivin Pauly-starrer Padavettu (2020) was released earlier this week. The actor shared the poster of the upcoming Malayalam film on Twitter.
The poster features a bearded Nivin sitting behind a barbed wire fence with three old men, who are in the background. The most striking feature of the poster is the sickle in his hands and his intense gaze, clearly indicating that he is a man not averse to violence. The sepia tone manages to impart an ominous feel to the poster.

The film seems to deal with conflicts and struggles for survival, quite similar to Nivin's last film, Moothon (2019).
Directed by first-timer Liju Krishna, the film also features Aditi Balan and Manju Warrier in pivotal roles. Padavettu is produced by actor Sunny Wayne under his banner, Sunny Wayne Productions.
