Actor-producer Vivek Oberoi has tied up with the news app Dailyhunt to launch a talent contest for his upcoming horror film Rosie: The Saffron Chapter.

Information on how the auditions will be conducted has not been released. The makers also shared the first motion poster for the film.

In an earlier tweet, Oberoi had promised to cast new talent for a prominent role in the film alongside the lead artistes, for which he had promised to launch a talent hunt.

The death by suicide of actor Sushant Singh Rajput last month has sparked a debate in the Hindi film industry on discrimination and nepotism. Oberoi himself has spoken of 'groups' in the industry. So the talent hunt by his team seems to be a step in the right direction.

Meanwhile, the film's motion poster shows a sketch of a mall and a woman. But it's the eerie music that captures your attention. The supernatural thriller is said to be based on events that happened a few years ago in Gurugram (Gurgaon), Haryana.

This is the second film to be produced by Oberoi's newly launched banner, Oberoi Mega Entertainment, after Iti. Both films will be directed by Vishal Mishra.
