Picture of a masked Rajinikanth driving a Lamborghini goes viral 

A picture of actor Rajinikanth driving a Lamborghini Urus surfaced online yesterday and immediately went viral. The picture features Rajinikanth driving the luxury SUV, wearing a mask and his trademark white kurta and dhoti.

Apparently, the car belongs to Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya, and the picture was taken while he was driving to his farmhouse in Kelambakkam for the weekend.

On the career front, Rajinikanth will be seen in the Tamil film Annaatthe (2020) next. The project, which will see actor in the role of a caring brother, marks his maiden collaboration with director Sivakuma Jayakumar, best known for helming Veeram (2014) and Viswasam (2019). The film is expected to hit the theatres during Pongal next year. 

Tipped to be a rural drama, Annaatthe also stars Keerthy Suresh, Meena and Khushbhu in key roles. The film was officially launched last December in Chennai in a low-key affair.

The actor was last seen playing an angry cop out to avenge his daughter’s death in Darbar, which was directed by AR Murugadoss. Following the box-office failure of Darbar, it was rumoured that Rajinikanth agreed to reduce his remuneration by half for Annaatthe.

Rajinikanth will next team up with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a yet-untitled Tamil project, which will be produced by Kamal Haasan. The film is expected to be officially launched in a few months.
