While the lyrics by Manoj Muntashir fit in with a secretive romance, the song's true magic lies in its music.

Ankit Tiwari and Aishwarya Majumdar take the lead in a wonderful soft rock ballad for Yaara's first song. The film, featuring Amit Sadh, Vidyut Jammwal, VIjay Varma, Kenny Basumatary and Shruti Haasan, is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
Departing from style, the song 'Bhedi' captures the romance between Jammwal and Haasan's characters, on a quiet impressive track that makes for a good listen.
The song begins with a wonderful heavy riff of the bass guitar (Ankur Mukherji) before it flows into Tiwari's vocals. From there, the song builds into the predictable but enjoyable rhythm of a rock ballad.
Tiwari's voice is soulful and captures the passion of Manoj Muntashir's lyrics well. The lyrics fit in with a secretive romance, the eponymous 'bhedi' (spy) mentioned in the song. But the true magic lies in the music rather than the lyrics.
The expressive modern art dance choreography feels a bit odd, particularly with the over-stylized visuals of filtered sunlight coming in through smoke, or the lead characters cavorting through desolate ruins. Despite the visuals, the song definitely has a pull.
Both Tiwari and Aishwarya Mujumdar do credit to the song with their vocals. The vocals are built upon a good composition that plays on the strength of the electronic guitars and the eventual climactic finish. While the end is a little lacking in energy and could have used a bit more pace, it still does not take away from a good song.
Yaara is set to be released on the Zee5 OTT platform on 30 July. Watch the 'Bhedi' song below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
