Chunky Pandey is the innocent-looking ruthless killer in Abhay 2: See trailer

Chunky Pandey has gone through a complete makeover for his character in the upcoming web-series Abhay 2, which is also his debut in the digital space. 

In the latest promo for the series, the actor appears like an old, helpless man. However, what the world doesn’t know is that he is a cold-blooded murderer who kills in cruel ways.

Sharing details about his character, Pandey said in a statement, “This was an exciting role for me. It is my digital debut too and I have never played anything like it [before]. My character is a normal-looking guy, but not when it comes to finding ways to feed his cannibal instinct. Looks can be deceptive indeed! The promo is just a glimpse. The real game changer is when Abhay 2 premieres on 14 August on Zee5.” 

Abhay 2 will see Kunal Kemmu carry forward his character of Abhay Pratap Singh, an investigating officer who has to tackle criminals as well as his personal demons.

Elaborating, Pandey said, “It [the show] is set to bring to the forefront ruthless crime stories. The entire cast and crew have done an incredible job of putting together a top-notch crime series. It will give you the chills, definitely.” 

This is the third time Chunky Pandey has gone through a massive look change in recent years after Begum Jaan (2017) and the Marathi film Vikun Taak (2020).

Directed by Ken Ghosh, Abhay 2 also stars Ram Kapoor in a never-seen-before evil avatar.
