Coronavirus update: Anupam Kher's mother declared healthy by doctors; to be quarantined at home now

Kher's mother Dulari, who had been admitted to Kokilaben hospital last week, has now been released. 

Actor Anupam Kher's mother Dulari, brother Raju Kher, sister-in-law Reema and niece Vrinda have been declared healthy by doctors. They had all tested positive for COVID-19 last week. Doctors have now allowed Kher's mother,  who was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in suburban Andherito be quarantined at home. 

Raju and his family had quarantined themselves at home after the results. 

Sharing the news with his fans on Twitter, Kher wrote, "Mom has been declared healthy by all medical parameters by the doctors at Kokilaben Hospital. She will now be quarantined at home. Love heals. Stay safe but don’t be distant emotionally from COVID+ patient/families! Doctors & @mybmcofficials/employees are real HEROES. JaiHo 

In the video, Kher thanked the hospital doctors and staff members for their relentless work. He also thanked his fans for keeping his morale high during the tough period.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek, who had also tested positive, are currently undergoing treatment at Nanavati hospital in Vile Parle. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya had also tested positive last week. After being in home quarantine for six days, both mother and daughter were also shifted to Nanavati hospital on Saturday.
