Vivek Anand Oberoi announced his first film as a producer titled Iti on Tuesday. Barely two days later, he has followed it up with an announcement about his second production. The film is a horror-thriller titled Rosie: The Saffron Chapter.

Oberoi shared that the film will eventually be a franchise to be directed by Vishal Mishra, who is also the director of Iti. The makers have claimed that the film is based on true events from Gurugram.

The actor tweeted the poster of the film and wrote, “God has been kind! We bring you our 2nd film, Rosie, a horror-thriller franchise based on strange true events in Gurugram. Produced by Mandiraa Entertainment and my home production Oberoi Mega Entertainment. Rosie will be directed by Vishal Mishra.”

The poster has an interesting image of a search bar where someone is searching for the word ‘Rosie’ and it’s throwing up search suggestions.

The cast of Rosie has not been decided yet, but Oberoi has said that he is keen to cast new faces for it. “Always tried to support talent so launching something close to my heart! With a talent hunt for Rosie, me and Mandiraa Entertainmen promise to cast new talent unbiasedly to play a prominent role, alongside lead actors. Our small effort to make a big difference,” he said in another tweet.

The Twitter page for Rosie revealed that the makers would be launching a star hunt to cast the main lead for the film. “Now you can be a star too! Announcing a talent hunt to introduce a new actor in a prominent role in Rosie, alongside lead actors,” said the tweet.
