Mukta A2 Cinemas to launch Bahrain’s first drive-in theatre

Now, movie fans in Bahrain can catch films from the comfort of their own car at the country’s first drive-in theatre. Mukta A2 Cinemas and the event management group PICO are coming together to  launch a drive-thru cinematic experience at Bahrain Bay.

While safely watching the film from their car, audiences can enjoy the movie, along with food, snacks, and drinks.  Proper physical distance will be maintained as cars will be parked at an appropriate distance from one another, and all transactions will be done digitally.

The audience can hear the audio through a dedicated radio channel on their car stereo, and before the screening, the theatre will also host stand-up shows, live music events, and special performances.

The theatre experience includes movie tickets, along with a substantial food and drinks package. They can also avail of an added menu option with gourmet offerings like hot dogs, burgers, nachos, and pizza.
