French Biriyani trailer: Danish Sait headines a comedy of errors

An eccentric rickshaw driver, a French tourist, a bunch of policemen, and a missing suitcase feature in this confusing and funny trailer of the upcoming Kannada film French Biriyani (2020) directed by Pannaga Bharana. This is his second film after the Kannada anthology Happy New Year (2017).

Simon arrives in India from France with a suitcase that soon goes missing. In the process of finding the suitcase, he meets an eccentric auto-rickshaw driver Asgar (Danish Sait). The duo then begin the search for the suitcase which leads to a comedy of errors. There are also the policemen who have their own agenda, 

This is Sait's second Kannada film following his debut in Humble Politician Nograj (2018), also a comedy, where he had played the lead role of a corrupt politician.

The Kannada comedy is among the five films from the South and the seven Indian films that were to release directly on Amazon Prime. Of them, Penguin (2020), Sufiyum Sujatayum (2020), Ponmagal Vandhal (2020) and Gulab Sitabo (2020) have already released on the OTT platform. Shakuntala Devi (2020) will arrive on 31 July and Law (2020) on 17 July. 

French Biryani will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 24 July.
