Kunal Kemmu-starrer Lootcase will arrive on Disney + Hotstar on  31 July

At an online event held at the end of June, Disney + Hotstar had announced the digital premiere of seven films on its OTT platform from July to October. Titled ‘First Day First Show Ki Home Delivery’, the films included the Kunal Kemmu-starrer Lootcase (2020), which will arrive on the platform on 31 July. 

Sharing the news on Twitter, Kemmu said, “I’m so happy and excited to share this with you guys! I’ve been waiting for this day. We are bringing Lootcase directly to the safety and comfort of your home. So you and I have a movie date on the 31 July. See you.” 

Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, Lootcase also features Rasika Dugal, Ranvir Shorey, Vijay Raaz and Gajraj Rao. The trailer of the film released last year to a positive response. 

A Soda Films and Fox Star Studios production, Lootcase is about Nandan Kumar (Kemmu), a middle-class guy who struggles to make ends meet and is constantly taunted by his wife (Dugal) and son. One day, he lays his hands on a suitcase filled with cash. Little does he know that a politician (Rao), a cop (Shorey) and a gangster (Raaz) are struggling to lay their hands on the suitcase.
