Exclusive: Everything is ready, will start on Krrish 4 once I get fit, says Rakesh Roshan

Rakesh Roshan had announced Krrish 4 in 2018 on Twitter. He had also set Christmas 2020 as the release date. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with throat cancer thereafter and had to go through a long period of treatment and recovery.

The filmmaker is now raring to go with the next project in the Hrithik Roshan-starrer franchise as he is recuperating from his illness.

Speaking exclusively with Cinestaan.com, Rakesh Roshan said, “I was not well. But now I am regaining my strength. Once I am 100% fit, I will start Krrish 4. The script is ready, everything is ready. I am just waiting to recoup my strength.”

Krrish 4 is the fourth film in the sci-fi franchise after Koi... Mil Gaya (2003), Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 (2013). In the first film, Preity Zinta was cast opposite Hrithik Roshan while it was Priyanka Chopra in the next two films. We need to wait and see who will be signed as the lead actress for Krrish 4.

Hrithik Roshan had two releases last year at the box office, Super 30 and War, both of which did good business.
