Actor Yash is hopeful that the high expectations around KGF Chapter 2 will be met or even fulfilled when the film releases.

Actor Yash says as much as he’s aware of the expectations for KGF Chapter 2 (2020) following the phenomenal success of the first part, he’s hopeful that they might surpass expectations.
In his latest interview to online portal CinemaExpress.com, Yash opened up about KGF 2 which is currently on the floors.
Talking about the high expectations around the second installment, Yash said: “I am happy. These expectations about KGF Chapter 2 will be fulfilled, or we might even surpass it. This is not overconfidence. The entire team is working hard to make it happen, and we can sense it will.”
Asked if he plans to take up more pan-India project after KGF, Yash said that it all depends from project to project basis.
"It depends on each film. If I feel that the content has a pan-Indian appeal, I shall surely go for it. I will also take up subjects limited to only one or two languages. However, I also want to stress, since I have developed a fan base across the country and everybody is waiting for my films, why shouldn't I push for releases in five languages whenever possible? In a way, it becomes a duty for me to entertain them. So, I will mostly go with subjects which have a pan-Indian appeal,” he said.
In KGF 2, which will hit the screens this summer, Sanjay Dutt will play the primary antagonist. The second chapter will follow the journey of Rocky bhai (Yash) as he rises to the king of a goldmine. The film will also star Raveena Tandon in a crucial role.
